Authentic Tuscan farmhouse
A living home, open all year

TUSCANY FARMHOUSE
Farmhouse NOVAE,
nature at home
Ca’Novae is a living estate where each season has its own scent, light, and silence.
Life unfolds slowly here, between the rooster’s call and the whisper of trees. The stones keep the warmth of the sun; the wood tells stories of time. This is a place that reveals itself gently, step by step, to those who listen to the language of nature.
The estate is also a working farm — gardens, fruit trees, herbs, bees, and small animals live in balance, cared for with patience and respect. Nothing is staged; everything is real. It’s a home where sustainability is a quiet, daily gesture, and authenticity speaks softly through the care of small things. A place to reconnect with the earth, the seasons, and yourself.
THE HOSTS
Bernese Mountain Dog
Imagine a loyal companion, a big heart, and a contagious smile — that’s the Bernese Mountain Dog.
At Ca’Novae, they live as part of the family, gentle guardians of the farmhouse and its quiet harmony.
Honest and grounded, they watch the world with calm curiosity, protective yet never harsh.
With them, every day feels slower, warmer, and filled with joy.
The Garden of Ca’Novae
Just a few steps from your room, the Ca’Novae garden bursts with life: sun-ripened tomatoes, crisp greens, fragrant herbs, and vibrant flowers. It’s a regenerative, biodynamic, biointensive garden — a living ecosystem where nothing is wasted, and everything has purpose.

Honey, propolis, pollen
Our small apiary follows organic principles, using only natural treatments and cold extraction to preserve the honey’s purity and fragrance.
Each jar tells a story of place — the scent of wildflowers, the bitterness of chestnut, the sweetness of wildflower honey, the lightness of the Tuscan wind.
At Ca’Novae, there’s no such thing as “weeds.” Every wild herb has value and purpose. Our aromatic and medicinal plants perfume the air, feed the butterflies, and help preserve the natural balance of the land. Biodiversity is our greatest ally — it keeps the soil alive, supports pollinators, and reminds us that true beauty grows from diversity itself.
